When you think of collegiate style, what comes to mind? For us, images of classic letterman jackets, tweed blazers and ties, and preppy Ralph Lauren sweaters abound. However, as college students in the year 2022, when looking around campus it is clear that hoodies and sweatpants far outnumber the letterman jackets sported across the diag. Change has indeed occurred, and a new semester has begun: there is a lot to uncover, so let’s begin.
MASH is excited to announce your official acceptance into the University of Fashion.
Edition XIII explores how fashion impacts our education – both our performance in the classroom and our self expression on campus – and vice versa. We will uncover how our college education impacts our fashion choices, hone in on the importance of being well informed, and actively integrate that knowledge into our own everyday life in order to spread positive change in the fashion world.
There is so much to be learned from this edition, see you in class!
